Oh yes I am one of those Harry Potter fanatics. I was a bit skeptical watching the first movie and I am glad to have seen it. After that first movie, I just could not wait to see the rest and read the books. Unfortunately, JK Rowling ended the series in Book 7 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
I love the fact that when I read the books or watch the movies it takes me to a different realm. The castle, the mountain view with all the visual effects are just phenomenal. The WANDS... I am so obsess with them that I wanted to have my own wand. My favorite chant is WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA! My precious son just laughs at me when I say those words and hoping the towels will fly down to him. One time I thought it worked! but it was just THE OTHER (moji our other kitten) who was messing up the closet. Well of course, the book is in comparable to the movie. The books gives you so much detail and ideas that I believe is not necessary to be part of the movie. Although it would be nice to see some of it in the movie. Oh I know we can't have it all.
I am definitely waiting for the two movies to flow, the Half Blood Prince (showing sometime in Nov 2008) and the Deathly Hollows. Oh yes expect to see me at the movie theaters

I have only seen two films. For some reason I haven't been bitten by the Potter bug :) I haven't read any book, too!

Not me, I have watch the first movie probably gazillion times since some of the parts on the DVD are worn off lol... Thats how much i love it.
