Memorial Weekend
Since it has not been a month since I started working again. I was not really looking forward to the long weekend, Memorial day. Although it would be nice to catch up with my house chores and do a little bit of blogging. I needed to make some extra $$$ for my son's upcoming birthday.
On Friday, I worked till two in the afternoon. The only plan we have for this long weekend was to visit Cyclops friend Mark up in Long Island, NY. We had an easy Friday night. We went to the Cheesecake Factory at the old Race Track on Route 70 for dinner. While we had our dessert at the Cold Stone Creamery.
It was around ten in the evening when our house phone rang. I find it strange since no one really calls us on the house phone especially around that time. Unless it is that stupid long distance company in the Philippines. Cyclops looked at the caller ID and it was his father. Mrs. Josephine, Cyclops grandmother, was taken to the hospital. If I am not mistaken this is her second trip back to the hospital for this year. She is 96 years old and is suffering from pneumonia. After his conversation, with his father. He asked if me and my son would come to New York with him to see his grandmom at the hospital. I said, "Of course we would go with you."
The following morning while I was getting ready for our trip, I saw this strange red thing in the corner of my right eye. Because I am an intelligent being, I tried touching it to get it off my eye by sticking my finger in it. See told you I am smart. Since it I feel no pain or twinge or any I just let it be. But sadly, I have to use my eye glasses. Crap! No Green Eyes for me for awhile.
It's late... I will continue the story on Thursday.... I have a long day tomorrow so visit me later!!!

Fascinated with Rainbows
Rainbow, so simple and yet so beautiful. As I was typing my previous blog, my Precious went to my wrong and ask me to look out the window. There it was the beautiful sun covered lightly by dark clouds. My son said, "I am not talking about the clouds Mom! Look!" I was in awe with what I saw. The most beautiful rainbow I have seen in my 33 years of living in this world. Not only one but two rainbows was up in the sky. I could see the full arch of the rainbow. Too bad I have a sucky camera.

Just another day of nothing
I report to my friend Clarky and Matil-duh almost every single day. Matil-duh is the computer challenge friend of mine while Clarky is a genius compared to Matil-duh! ha ha ha h... Well, the reason why I am writing a blog today is because of Clarky. She is complaining that I have not been posting any entries lately and that I SUCK big time for it.
Why?! I have been so busy with my new job and my homely responsibilities. During the first week of my new job, I was doing a lot of interfiling. In this process, I got my self familiar with all the different account numbers and how their accounting system work. It is far different from what I am used too. One of the other thing that I love about my new job is the variety of work. It is not the typical you set infront of your computer work it is more intense than that. My hours varies every single day. It really depends on how much cross training I have to do so my hours have been fluctuating from late to super early! Great isn't it.
In addition, to my busy schedule, nothing has really tickled my interest lately. My passion with blogging seems to be in a plateau. So as my diet. Well, actually my diet is down hill rather than a plateau. I have gain all my belly fat back trust me that is 10lbs of fat. ha ha ha ha. Hopefully, I could get my rhythm and get myself back on track with my weight-loss plan.
Here you go Clarky, my entry just for you. Ha ha ha ha ha

Luminous Blue Light
At my new job, I am done working at 3pm on Friday's. This is one of the minor things I love about my new job. They also offer excellent benefit which I should be getting after my 90 day period. Well, my new job is really not what I will be sharing with you. It was Friday and the weather was crappy. Funny how the weather was meshing well with my state of mind. My head was clouded and damp. Just like the weather. I can't wait to see my dose of happiness, my precious SON.
After picking Precious up at school, we stopped by our house to grab the clothes he was bringing to his fathers house. I was feeling deprive of spending a special day with my son. It was not fair! We have shared custody and instead he chooses to have his son on weekends. My anger and frustration about the situation was building up and wanted to lush it out on someone or anyone. I have mastered suppressing my emotions in front of my so. In all honesty, it does takes so much of me since I am the type who wears her emotion on her sleeves.
On our way to my ex hubby's place, we saw several accidents on the road. I told him to make sure to buckle up good since they would be traveling tonight to Virginia. We had our few laughs and minutes later we arrived at his father's home. Precious gave me a kiss and I was on my way back home.
It took me two hours to get back to my house taking a different route to avoid the traffic on East bound 38. The drive would have been shorter if it was not rush hour and no accidents in all corners of New Jersey. Not only that, some places have already been flooded due to the rain.
Around 9:00 pm, I was still on the phone with Matil-duh. Don't ask about the topic since we both could never figure out what we talk about on any of our phone conversations. One thing for sure, we never run out of laughs. In the middle of our conversation, she screamed "Bakla, brownout!!!!" (translation : "Fag, blackout!!!"). I would have not known it since the lights in my house was all off and the television was not on. So I grabbed the no light candle and turned it on. (I got it as a gift from Cyclopse sister this past Xmas, you can get one at Walgreens!). I walked around the house using my cellphone to walk around the house looking for the flashlight. It was really dark and I was still yapping on the phone with Matil-DUH. As I was headed back to my room, I glimpse something bright out the window in my son's room. I looked out the window and saw a luminous Light up in the sky. It was like those neon blue light. As I stare into it, the light's came back on and then it was gone. I was really dumb founded by that sight. The lights went out again and this time the luminous blue light was brightening the dark sky once more. Not knowing what it was, I asked Matil-duh to look out her window. Since she lives below, she can confirm that I was not hallucinating! She does see it too! I was not insane! "What in the world is that?!", I asked her. She has no clue either. Can someone explain this to me?! It has been bugging me for days now. Cyclopes said it could be an electric wave and probably a transformer blew up. But why was it so wide and in was circular in shape? Well, I guess I was just making a fuss about it. It could be an electric wave.

Our New Neighbor
We have a new neighbor, I have notice her moved in last month but was not really paying her any attention. We have named her Mommy birdie. She built a nest on top of the electric panel by our garage and this is what I saw:

I have never seen a blue egg!!!! EVER!!!! Well yeah on easter when we paint the eggs blue. We were watching her the other day because everytime we open our door she flies away and leave's her nest. The moment we are nowhere in sight she sits back on her nest. It was really cool.

Happy Mothers Day!

Myspace Graphics
This really is a belated happy Mothers Day entry. My ex-husband took my son with him on Mother's Day so I was not really feeling it at all. His father took him to Virginia to see my his Lola (my son's Grandmother). He did make his own Mommy's Day card which I am so thankful for. Cyclopse and I spent most of the day up in New York with his family. I really wish my son was with us.
This is really a tag from Earthlingorgeous and I thought of inserting how my Mommy's Day was spent.
1. Just choose any Mothers' Day graphics from zwani to greet the mommies you know.
2. Add your blog to the list. Feel free to add all your blogs.

PinkBiik Unemployed NO MORE!
Last Thursday, I started working for a small company here in New Jersey. It was a contract to hire position and 40 mins away from home. I was shown stuff that I would be doing and I already know it would drive me mad. It is not difficult at all but the load of work is not enough to keep me busy. But hey! A job is a job. I can't be selective when I have responsibilities that needed to be taken care off. Sometime during that day, I got a phone call. THIS IS IT! The company I have interviewed with before finally called and made me an offer! For some reason, I felt guilty. I am already working. Should I accept it? I was really unsure. It is not just a job, it is the job I have been waiting for.
Guess what? I took it and so far no regrets. My day flew by so fast that I almost forgot to take my cig break. WISH ME LUCK!

Evening with the Queen
This entry is Taglish. It would be difficult to make the entry pure english due to the content.
My life's track has not been very cooperative this past few weeks. Is it the economy? I don't think so. It is more on making wrong choices in life that leads me to the pit I am in. I have very limited friends but they may be few but OH SO TRUE. They are the one who have stood by me and understood me all through out these years. We may not speak or talk every so often but they are the once who are there behind me 100%.
Last week, I needed a breather so badly. I visited the park, the stores and a couple of restaurants but it was not enough. My so precious child was spending his weekend with his father so the day was getting tougher. It was past seven and really wanted to go elsewhere, I need a new aura, a new space to free up my overloading brain.
Biik: Ola! What you up too tonight?
Reynz: Gumagawa ng pera?
Biik: Gusto mo lumabas?
Reynz: Later tatapusin ko lang entries ko.
Biik: Ok
My pink piggy skin waited and waited. Then he texted me this message "Meet you sa Bump."
I stood up and head out the door. My emotions are so mixed up and I know drinking would not help me at all. Here I am all prettied up for my date with the Queen. He waited for me by the lot.
Biik: Mamita! Masarap ba tsibog dyan.
Reynz: Decente naman pero kumain na ako.
Biik: Wako care, eat ako.
Reynz: Manay di kayo talo nyan mas babae pa sya kaysa sa iyo
Biik: Sa blog ko talo kami! Ha ha ha ha ha!
The most amazing part is the revelation. Here is another story of Morality and Hypocrisy. A gusto ng lola nyo yong sasampal sampalin sya pag kinalabit nya at bibigay din in the end. Kaya ang papalicious nya always may jasawa! Immoral ka!
Pero bilib ako sa palamuti ng kanyang palasyo
