Intermission: Ms PinkBiik Blah blah blah

I was lazy to write yesterday. The dilemma is that I am running out of stuff to blog. My idea seems to be running low. Reeze asked, "What will you be blogging after you wrote about the Twilight Series?" She is absolutely right. My interest have been diverted in other things that I have really forgotten about blogging.

The past few months have been a roller coaster for me. To many emotional challenges and losing two jobs in a row was not health either. I did watch closely the presidential election. NO! Definitely no discussion on who I was supporting. If you have been following my entries, you would know that those are topics that I would not touch.

How does the economy touches Ms PinkBiiks Piggybank? Well, it is flat out drained. If my voluptuous figure was golden and sprakling before, now I am broken. If I kept my motivation in the blogging world I might have made a few more $$$ to keep up with the draining economy. Thank goodness that the gas prices in Jersey have deteriorated from $4.00 to $1.69. How amazing?! Although, there are still number of people losing their jobs. Companies are still out-sourcing. Unemployment is rising by the minute.

What could people be thankful for this year? I know I have a few. My family, relationship, everything in my life is good and going great. I could not ask for more than that.

To those who still visit regardless of my laziness. Thank you.

New Moon by Stephanie Meyers

Ok. I am back on my yappers on the Twilight Series. New Moon is the second part of the Twilight Series written by Stephanie Meyers. I was really glad that I did not read Twilight when it first came out. It would be a Harry Potter dilemma for me all over again. I would not been able to sit still not knowing how it all end.

After my hang over on Twilight, I whipped through this novel overnight. It felt like that time when I got obsessed with Harry Potter books and that time when I got addicted in blogging. The turn of events in NEW MOON was something I did not expect. In my head, I was picturing Edward and Bella facing Victoria (the vampire who's partner, James, died in the first series). The twist caught me of guard, my heart felt really heavy and ok fine I did cry a tiny bit. This scenario is one of the reason why I don't watch sappy movies or read novels like such. Anyway, reading through the part when Edward told Bella that he was leaving, like he never existed was written elaborately. It felt like I am Bella and I am the one being left behind. The sadness and gloominess of her life were narrated in a way that made me depress for a moment.

Reading through a couple chapters after Edward left Bella, I found myself bored and not a bit interested on how she moved on with her life. Yes, I am one of those who skipped through several Chapter until I found Alice's name. I really do LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS. Well, reality brings too much damn drama so I want the movies I watch or books I read to be Happy in the end.

Trust me, I did go back and read the Chapters I have skipped. It was such a drag to read Chapters when my interest was a part of it. A part of me was annoyed with Bella in this chapters as well. So really this is not my favorite part.

Now I am ready for the movie. Please hurry up! Oh before I forget, if you have read the book and interested on what Rosalie have told Edward please visit Stephanie Meyer's website.

"Twilight" the movie and book

Edward Cullen (Twilight)Image via Wikipedia
Did I surprise you?! I know it has been awhile since I wrote something here in my blog consecutively. What do you think of my new layout? If you like it, this is courtesy of Bloggerbuster

Enough of my blah and let's go get back to the topic. In my previous blog, I have explained how I got hook in reading this teenage love story that touched my puny brain and got me obsessed with the "Twilight Series" written by Stephanie Meyer. To the extent that I have read it multiple times. Four times for each book to be precise.

I was really skeptical that I would enjoy the book. Crime novels are usually the ones that pick my interest. Even I was caught off guard when I started reading this book. As I read through the lines and my imagination start working I fell in love with the character of Edward Cullen. A character of a man (in this case a boy) you would want to stumble upon in real life. I would take it be a human or vampire form. Reading it makes me quiver and excited. It feels like I am Bella Swan. This book reminds me of Harry Potter, it just takes me to a different world. It is not all sappy, there are some funny parts as well. I just am embarrased that I giggle everytime a read it like a freaking teenager. Some of the scenes I could relate, due to the resemblance on what Bella feels for Edward. I have the same emotions running in me towards my Cyclone.

The MOVIE. Of course, it was my sister who told me that the movie will be out. Immediately I searched for the trailer of the movie. As soon as I played it, I was a bit disappointed that it would be Robert Pattinson who would be playing the role of Edward Cullen. But if you would have watched the trailers as much as I have I guess my imagination gave in and accepted him as Edward. But really who cares on what I think. The movie is not that great nor is it bad. I really think the movie would have been great if they alloted more money on the special effects. If NBC can make an amazing effect for HEROES I am 100% positive that they could have done better with the Twilight movie. Like all other books, your imagination works the wonders and you do get upset when it was not presented at your expectation. That part I am already aware off. What disappointed me the most was the part that I should have been dazzled by how a Vampire skin sparkle under the bright sun. Robert Pattinson looked disoriented on this scene and looks really creepy.

Kristen Stewart was a bit blah or it could be how she deliver the line. I don't know I really need to see the movie again to get a bit more grasp on how she did as Bella. (My excuse to go see it again.) My sister has her eyes on Kellan Lutz who played Emmet Cullen and Taylor Lautner who played Jacob Black. Ashley Greene is perfect for the role as Alice Cullen so as Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale.

The movie was a hit and I think it was also due to the pull of Robert Pattinson fans. If you've read the book New Moon you must be aware that his character is limited in this series. I just hope they would make ways to add his beautiful face in some of the part.

That's my blab for today and I do hope ya'll had a wonderful and peaceful THANKSGIVING.

Obsession with Stephenie Meyer

Stephenie Meyer's TwilightImage via Wikipedia

Oh my goodness!!! My home is field with cobwebs. I really have not felt the desire to write about anything for a long while. Here I am after obsessing about the book Stephenie Meyer have written. It was in August THE SECOND TIME I lost my job for the year that my dearest friend Clarky lend me the book "TWILIGHT". She gave me a brief idea what the book is about but I really did give it a chance. I told myself I will get to it when I feel a little motivated.

My sister Reeze at some point got really bored and have read through most of my Harry Potter collection. I mentioned to her how Clarky have lend me a book that I think she would enjoy. And damn was I right about it. After reading the book over night she asked if she could get the sequel which is entitled NEW MOON. Still my interest has not kicked in. In fact I bought some more of James Patterson book.

One time in October I went back to Clarky's place to ransack her closet for clothes. She told my sister she got book three which is entitled ECLIPSE. I still was not interested. But my sister kept insisting on me reading the darn book.

November came and still I have not touched the book. Since I have gained so much weight since my mother and sister arrived I have decided to head to the gym but I need a book to read. Since my DEAREST SISTER REEZE CHOCOLAT keep insisting I read the darn book. I grab it with me and then my OBSESSION begins.

I read TWILIGHT on the 5th of November finished it at 4 in the morning. You would think I would be darn tired going to work but I was not. I went to work that morning carrying the second book NEW MOON with me. Reading it diligently on my breaks and when I got home. Again finished the second book at 4 in the morning. Eclipse was the third book thank GOODNESS it was a Friday night. I read the darn thing and finished reading the book at 10 in the morning. OF COURSE NOT!... I did sleep for a couple of hours. The moment I got to the end of the book I head to BORDERS and grab the final book BREAKING DAWN.

Yes of course, I was like a freaking zombie those few days and no one could really get my focus away. And yes I read the BOOKS over and over again. And YES I have seen the movie where I beg my MAN to come with me because I really love it that much.

Please see my next blog what I think about each individual book and then let me know what you think.
