Christmas Day and I said I will.......

A couple of years before my divorce, I started spending Christmas Eve at Clarky's home with my Precious little pumpkin. We always headed home a couple hours before midnight so we could give Santa a chance to deliver his gift to my Precious. This year, since my Mama could not climb up the stairs I thought it would be best for us to stay home. No Noche Buena was prepared because I was so used to going to Clarky's family to celebrate Christmas Eve. Instead, Reezen TOT and I simply spend our eve watching Ghost Hunter marathon which we both have been addicted too.

I woke up early on Christmas Day not to my liking. My alarm buzz at 6:30 in the morning like I am headed to work. It did not bother me at all since there were a few things I needed to do before we headed to NY. Since Cyclops and I have been together, our holidays was usually spent with his family. Which worked out just fine, since my family are still residing overseas other than my adoptive family, Clarky. I got up and headed to the shower then went to Dunkin Donuts and bought our breakfast. Buying breakfast would save us so much time rather than me preparing it.

When I got back from the store, I was really glad to see that my Precious was still sound asleep. I sneaked in his room and whispered to him Merry Christms and said. "You have been a wonderful son, nephew, grandson and friend this year. Santa came and left you your Christmas present." He opened his eyes and said, "Merry Christmas Mom!" He got up ran down the steps. By this time, everyone was up. My Precious knew the drill he needed to wait before he starts opening his presents. Reezen TOT opened hers first. It did hurt me a bit when I read her blog but it was my fault not making it more exciting for her. Ah! She will get over it once I give her her New Years present. At least, she got a few of what she picked for herself. One thing I am aware of is how much she love the present her nephew got her.

Then it was my turn to be surprise. The first gift I opened was from my sister, Reezen TOT. She gave me her Pink Guess pocketbook that I adored so dearly. Thank you my dearest sister. Then, Precious came over and gave me his gift. A gift he picked on his own from his own allowance. There was a card that came with it. The bracelet he got me is so beautiful. As I read the card, I realized that I started crying. It said, "To my pretty mom, We love you so much and have a Merry Christmas. Love Precious," I did stop and proceeded to the rest of my gifts. Precious and Cyclops went to the mall the day before and they got me a bag and a pajama set. Just everything I needed.

Prior to me, Cyclops opened his present. It was not a lot bunch but things we know he would want. Last year, we decided no more presents for each other on Christmas day. Instead we got presents for both of us. In 2007, we went to Vermont for our Christmas present and a new car which we call our MOB mobile. After I opened all my gifts he did remind me of another present he has for me that he sent to his parents house. I brushed it off my head to stop myself obsessing to know what it was. Honestly, the surprise was killing me.

We could not wait for Mother to come down stairs because Precious was getting impatient in opening his present. So we had him open them without Mother Biik. As always, watching him open all the present we got him send a warm feeling to my heart. He's always thankful and grateful to anything you surprise him with. He really is an amazing child. His expression are always priceless but the fainting when he open the present is remarkable. He loved the Star Wars book Mother Hen got him, so as the Star Wars Lego he received from Santa and Cyclops & me.

Mother Biik opened her presents last. This was prior to us leaving. It did took her along time to get ready and climb down the steps. It was really a work out for me. Hopefully by the time she recover I would have lost a pound or two .... ( ha ha ha ha ha). Precious got her a jewelry box, Reezen Tot got her a sweater and Cyclops & I got her a wallet with a few $$$ in it. Unlike other people I have known and met, Cyclops never hesitate or complains when I get or give my family a few things here and there. As a matter of fact, I am the one who held back at times. But he always remind me that every little thing he owns is mine as well. How could I not love this man who had shown my son and my family all goodness and ask nothing in return. What else could I ask for this year? Actually, I do wanted Father Biik and Brother biik & his family here spending the holidays with us. Other than that my Christmas so far is perfect.

Then off we went to NY. I drove to get my head over the anticipation of what the surprise present would be. I have a couple of theories but I kept brushing it off. He wanted me to be surprise and I did not want to ruin anything for him. Nor do I want to feel disappointed. So again, I did tried my best to put it behind my head. My hunger over power that thought which was excellent. I was so focused on getting to his parents home so I could much on something before I pass out. We were the first who arrived. Then his Aunt and Uncle. A few minutes past his sister and her family arrived. It's always a wonderful time seeing everyone. After exchanging gifts, Cyclops Dad or Mr. Cyclops gathered everyone around and would liked to say a few things. After which this is what happened.

Few days prior to Christmas Eve

I have not been able to blog this past few days which is not a BASS news (BASS meaning Big Ass). But I have a full legitimate reasons. My beloved hard headed mother got hospitalized. So I have to skip work and make saklolo to her and my poor adoring sister who got blamed by my hard headed mother. I did yell at both of them for going without me or my Cyclops. To my surprise when I got to the hospital they bought a load of stuff from the grocery store which my mother carried on her walker. Of course, my baby sister complained to her non stop from the grocery store to their way home. (HAY NAKU! nakakalugas ng B0lB0l) Not only was my mother hurt but she refused to get treated and be taken to the hospital. Grrrr! So anyway, that was part of my week before the Christmas Holiday.

I took my beautiful Reezen TOT with me on my Christmas shopping. We went to a place where I knew it would not be overly populated. You have to understand I lost my job twice this year so I really have to tighten my belt.

There were at least 4 other people shopping with us at Bob's Critters located at New Eygpt. Sadly, my idea did not prosper. I did not find anything to buy at this place. Tsk tsk tsk. So we went to the mall instead. Seriously, I can't stand the mall any longer. I use to be one of the people that had a glorious and wonderful time when strolling around the mall. That change when they opened up a Shopping Center with individual store by me. It made things so much easier and accessible. We hit a couple of stores and really I felt beat.

I just started at my new job so NO VACATION accumulated at the moment. So I am the only one who got up early today since my Cyclops have no work and my Precious have no school. I was literally dragging myself out the door. IT CHRISTMAS EVE for crying out loud. But thats all cool. I have tons of project that needed my attention. I am so sure it would be like any other day where time would just fly. Right after lunch, my wonderful amazingly cute boss told me I could take off.... Oh yes Reynz did I tell you my boss is cutsy and funny. ha ha ha ha ha.... Well other than Clarky, he is the next best boss. I have to come up with a name for him. Not now. So anyway, I was on my way home when I was told by Cyclops and Precious that I am not allowed to come home right away. They got me a couple of thing as my surprise present. Tomorrow or the day after or probably over the weekend. I can blog about what I received.... to all of you.....

Merry Christmas....

Christmas is only a few days away......

Christmas is a few days away. Shopping hasn't been done in my household. My list is not that long. Thank goodness for that! I have a nephew and two nieces who are in the Philippines. So as my Dad, brother and sister-in-law. My sister and mom are here with me, visiting and keeping me company for a short while. Most the the people on my shopping list are my boyfriends family. and a couple of friends.

My family may be far away but I am thankful to have my adoptive family during the holidays. Before my boyfriends family embraced me and my son as part of theirs. My best friend Clary is the closest friend I have. (Besides Matil-DUH). I never expected to be part of this two Italian family but I AM.

Lets go back to me not doing my christmas shopping. I always seem to wait for the last minute and I really have no clue why I have not learned from the past. Actually, I have told my son that Santa might be affected by the economic struggle the world is facing. So he must be prepared that he don't get as much this year.

Oh and my precious child told me that my christmas decoration is pathetic and wanted a bigger tree. I am just not that good in decorating anything. Well honestly it made me feel like Mister Grinch!

Harry Potter exhibit coming to MSI in Chicago

This is a wonderful news for the Harry Potter enthusiast. Get to see a the movie come to life! They would only be shown in 4 cities here in the US then it will be moved to Asia and Europe. It will begin in April of 2009 through September.For more info, click on the article.

The New Jacob of Twilight

Here is another update I heard regarding NEW MOON (Twilight Sequel). I was driving on my way to work and listening to the Elvis Duran show. Danielle (the one that sounds nasally) is doing her entertainment news and mentioned the actor being considered for this role of Jacob Black for the NEW MOON movie which will start production in January. His name is Michael Copon.

>>> My boyfriend and I will not be exchanging gifts this Christmas. Last year, our Christmas was spent up in Vermont and him getting me a new car. This year we have my mom and sister with us. So we will be doing a less bang for presents. He said he don't really need anything other than new clothes (he does not buy a lot of them unlike me), a complied song by the band Metallica and quite time. (ha ha ha ha he wish!). Since I am the one who handles our finances (which I think I really suck doing), he asked for a little cash. He said he got me a "Christmas Present" that I would only find out what it is on Christmas day. He also emphasis the fact that he has been working on this gift a bit longer that I am aware. You think that would not irritate the crap out of me. I have not have a GOOD sleep for a week now. I am dying to know this "SURPRISE GIFT" is all about. I guess I just have to wait for a few more days to find out!!!!!

New Moon (Twilight Sequel) Update!

Image by i heart him via FlickrAs part of my craze over the Twilight Series that Stephanie Meyer wrote, I felt oblige to update myself about the bits and pieces of the making of New Moon sequel. Too bad, I was not introduce to blogging years when Harry Potter was released. Tsk Tsk Tsk! Probably my divorce would have occured earlier ha ha ha ha. So let me go dive back to my topic.

From what I have read and been hearing from the news and other entertainment articles, Summit Entertainment will start filming New Moon something in March of 2009 where November 20, 2009 is slated as the release date. (Wow! I do hope they will release it at that time.) Twilight the movie has grossed more than $141 million which was directed by Catherine Hardwicke. She will not be directing the sequel due to schedule conflict. According to EW's sources, Summit is considering Chris Weitz to direct New Moon.

To Taylor Lautner fans, I am positive you would be boycotting the film if they did not sign him to play Jacob Black for the upcoming movie. Some of the buzz says Steven Strait will be playing Jacob Black in the sequel.

I think they should replace Kristen Stewart because her acting is just horrible. This is not Panic Room where her dullness is ok or she hardly said a word. Given the pretty face and the fairness of the skin makes her a good Bella Swan. Hopefully, if Kristen is introduced to the Bella's character more and some coaching in her acting it might work.

Night with the Queen

I owe everyone a picture of the two nights I hang out with the Queen (Reyna). He happen to be so wonderful in keeping me company those nights. So he better not tell me that I never took him out. Ha ha ha ha.... I sure do hope he don't mind me posting this here. I sure did have fun and hopefully we could do it again. This time with my pretty baby sister Reezentot

What to blog? "REEZENTOT"

I am not born , destined to anything related to writing, narrating or anything that falls under that context. My grammar and vocabulary are scarce. It seems I struggle in gathering my thoughts and delivering them in a way that it would make sense. Just writing paragraph took 15 minutes of my time. Don't feel bad for me because I excel in other things. It would not be fair to the world if I am too perfect. Ha!

There is one person in our family who does have the gift of jab. She is very articulate and does have a wide range of imagination. There are others who thinks of her as "maarte" (dainty) [sometimes I want to slap this people silly for judging her when they have no clue about her] but she truely is a sweet lovable person. I am speaking about my sister "REEZENTOT".

I left the Philippines when she was only 9 years old. The years she and I have spent together was not pleasant at all. Ok fine! I do admit I was a mean bitchy sister to the fact that I was 12 years older than her I torment her with my brother in so many different levels. One thing I would never forget was the time we where all laying lazily in the family room watching some cartoon. She had this thing that she always like to sit on the railings of the window like a freakin monkey. I was looking at her and wisper something to my brother. She was like "WHAT?!". I said "Nothing, you are just so pretty that I like starring at you." As soon as she looked away I shot the window close and left her out there hanging. My brother and I ran as fast as we can before our Yaya could get her hands on us. Of course, as soon as our father gets home I faced my fathers wrath. She use to be the pest that rats me out to my dad when I am on the phone with my numerous boyfriend. I have to admit its not all her fault. I was really selfish and not care about anyone who breaths around me. With that being said, this is one of her qualities that I admire so much. She is unselfish. Ok fine that is way over line. She is selfish on clothes that she know I would take from her. Ha ha ha ha! Kidding aside she does have a good heart. She will falsely tell you how much she hates you but shows you differently.

I may have not watch her grow. I may have not been around when she had her first crush. When she wanted to go to a party that my dad would not let her? Twilight Series: Eclipse

Before I begin my rant on this book, this is the 5th time that I am reading each individual book. I think I will be shifting to the audio books so I could listen to it on my way to work and at work. As I have said OBSESSIVE. There is an excerpt before you buy it but the narrator sounded bland. Just like Kristen Stewarts' voice. Don't get me wrong I believe she is a beautiful but her voice is so monotone that made her sound irritating.

Eclipse is the third book released forthe Twilight Series. At the same token this book stirred me MAD. If you remember Victoria (James partner, the vampire that died in the movie), it is here where she resurface in Edward and Bella's world. So eager to read the whole book, I decided to stick in one section in our home so nobody would bug the crap out of me. But of course, it all failed. My son, mom, sister and Cyclops decided to engage me in conversations that I just walked out of the room and hide in the storage closet.

Finally, alone with my book. My family somehow got the gist that I wanted to finish the series before I watch the movie. I read a few chapter. Jacob's character started to crawl on my nerves. He was getting demanding towards Bella. The character of Jacob becomes really ghetto and Edward was refine. And then back to reality, the closet was not the best place to read so I moved in the bedroom. I sunk in to my favorite RED LOTUS blankie with my hot cocoa on the side. Then return to TWILIGHT world. It took me longer to finish this book. Not once did I blink nor did I want to stop reading every line and making sure I was absorbing every scene. This time I did not skip any part but I have to admit my focus is different when reading about Bella-Edward and Bella-Jacob. Jacobs character is so insolent that I just don't give a crap. GRRRRR!

I was still thinking this book would have no action, no graphic like most of the crime novels I read. Oh but I was so wrong. This is the book that they should really put in the works as well for the big picture. I would really love to see the fight against Victoria with her new vampires and the Cullens with the Quilete pack. **sigh**

Anyway, I finished reading around 10 in the morning having 4 hours sleep. But I did not stop there. Once I finished the book, I went straight to the bookstore to get myself a copy of BREAKING DAWN.

De La Hoya-Pacquiao Fight

Honestly, are you going to pay almost $60.00 to watch this when most people are already struggling due to the economy. Even HBO who use to release games for free for HBO subscriber.

Governor Rendell controversial remark on Janet Napolitano

It has been a habit for my Cyclops to turn the TV on while he gets ready for work. The news gives us an idea about the weather (to know what to wear) a little bit about the world (if the war ended which I really doubt) and of course the TRAFFIC JAM (needed to get Dunkin Donut Coffee prior anything else.

Reaction from several people really made me cringe on how they took his remarks personally.

Do you see anything wrong with his remarks? Do you disagree with what he says? Are you offended yourself? Because for me personally, he is just pointing out facts on why JANET NAPOLITANO is an excellent choice as Secretary of Homeland Security. That is how I took it. Some know it all woman in the media just reacted in an outburst on this remarks by Governor Ed Rendell. She took it personally and said just because she is single does not mean she does not have a life. She goes to the gym and goes shopping. SOME LIFE... Compare that position to SECRETARY OF HOMELAND SECURITY. Boy somebody really love themselves!

I am glad that I read this book when the entire sequel is out. It leave me no time to be anxious and ponder on what the next book will uncover. Eh, well I was a little bit on edge when I read this book. My annoyance to Jacob Black grew and Bella Swan became really selfish on this book. I will not say much but I LOVE ROBERT PATTINSON.... ha ha ha ha
